The grant application process is currently closed.

The Unwin Charitable Trust was set up by Sir Stanley Unwin to benefit the book trade. The Trust will support projects that encourage reading and literacy or support the commercial education of those involved in the book trade, especially booksellers. We will not support any application that does not involve the written word. We do not support applications that exclude any group determined by religion, politics, gender, race or disability.

Applications should be submitted using the form below – any supporting documents can be emailed to grants@unwincharitabletrust.org.uk. The Trustees meet once a year to discuss grant applications; applicants will be notified of the Trustees’ decision by the end of November each year.
